Re: Vegans
Was Paul a Vegan, then?

“Vogon poetry is of course, the third worst in the universe.
The second worst is that of the Azgoths of Kria. During a recitation by their poet master Grunthos the Flatulent of his poem "Ode to a Small Lump of Green Putty I Found in My Armpit One Midsummer Morning" four of his audience died of internal haemorrhaging and the president of the Mid-Galactic Arts Nobbling Council survived by gnawing one of his own legs off. Grunthos was reported to have been "disappointed" by the poem's reception, and was about to embark on a reading of his 12-book epic entitled "My Favourite Bathtime Gurgles" when his own major intestine, in a desperate attempt to save humanity, leapt straight up through his neck and throttled his brain.
The very worst poetry of all perished along with its creator, Paul Neil Milne Johnstone of Redbridge, in the destruction of the planet Earth. Vogon poetry is mild by comparison.”

I think you mean Vulcans, Fordie. And it's their ears, not their poetry that suck.

Vegans dont want animals killed for food.

People want meat.

Cant we just eat the vegans?

I agree on nutmeg in Bolognese, also chicken livers. No tomatoes just paste. And lots and lots of time

If you want another etymological adventure, look up "wooden nutmeg".

BTW, accusing Brenty of lying is OTT. He's a bit imprecise in his thinking, that's all.

Why would I stop? It upsets you not me.

Re: Vegans
Goose

I was posting on a topic you started.

You and two other posters decided to post about me (or ED's case me and another poster). Since I am boring why do that if you want an exciting thread about vegans?

You know from personal experience that calling me boring or calling names in all caps is not going to stop me correcting misinformation. So why keep doing it, unless to keep your thread alive?

goose 10:46 Wed Oct 2
Re: Vegans
I couldn’t give a fuck about keeping ‘my thread’ alive.
This site thrives on interesting & entertaining threads, and you have an unhappy knack for sucking the life out of every thread you post on.

That is such a weird name because I prompted you to post. Surely that is keeping your thread alive.

I have been called worse, so whatever, but I am sure you would want to be accurate.

Brentford

You actually lie again. I did not do a rant on cheese and I did not find fault with everything and anything you said, only when you were telling half truths and outright falsehoods.

I have agreed when you were correct and honest, like saying meat is bad for environment. But you will not agree and be honest and admit that cheese and rice and other non-meats are.

You came looking for a fight, you admit. It didn't go well because you were ill-informed but that is no reason to be dishonest.

Have a good evening.
